Șeful Autorității Vamale Române și directorul executiv al direcției regionale Galați, trimiși în judecată pentru fals intelectual, uz de fals și complicitate la uz de fals
The head of the Romanian Customs Authority and the executive director of the Galați regional office have been indicted for intellectual forgery and complicity. They allegedly falsified official documents to justify contraventions committed by a third accomplice. The documents claimed a fictitious high-risk operation and were used in court to annul penalties. Preventive measures have been proposed to maintain judicial control over the accused, including a ban on holding public office. Mihai Savin, the current president of the Customs Authority, was previously involved in other public roles and has a background in engineering and economics.
