Șeful ANSVSA acuză Comisia Europeană: „O decizie disproporționată”

The head of ANSVSA criticized the European Commission for banning Romania's sheep exports, calling it a disproportionate decision. This comes amid protests from sheep farmers in Bucharest. The ban, extended until December 2026, is due to the risk of spreading a disease affecting small ruminants. ANSVSA is actively seeking solutions and engaging with European experts to address the crisis. Vaccination of sheep is not supported as it could hinder exports of meat and dairy products.
