Șeful ANAF susține că noul sistem bonus-malus va ajuta la păstrarea profesioniștilor: „Avem nevoie de personal foarte înalt calificat”

Adrian Nicușor Nica, the president of ANAF, discussed the importance of retaining qualified staff and the implementation of a bonus-malus system to enhance employee motivation. He highlighted the need for competitive salaries, noting that some ANAF employees earn less than police officers. Nica also emphasized the collaboration between ANAF, the Romanian Police, and CNAIR, which includes an integrated system for monitoring highways. He explained that employee performance is evaluated continuously, with potential salary reductions for negative results. Additionally, Nica clarified ANAF's role in tax evasion cases, stating that they handle cases with damages under one million lei, while larger cases are referred to prosecutors. He has been in his position since July 2025, previously holding various roles in government and corporate sectors.
