Şefa FMI a anunţat ce ameninţă creşterea economiei globale. "Ar fi momentul pentru o politică monetară mai restrictivă în multe ţări"
The global economy faces threats from high energy prices, record public debt, and risks associated with AI investment, according to IMF's Kristalina Georgieva. She urged governments to implement protective fiscal and monetary policies. Georgieva highlighted the conflicting impacts of energy supply shocks from Middle Eastern conflicts and positive demand shocks driven by AI, which are unevenly distributed worldwide. The IMF's upcoming growth forecasts will likely show significant downward revisions for war-torn countries like Ukraine. Additionally, the rising public debt, projected to exceed 100% of GDP by 2030, poses challenges for economic growth. Georgieva emphasized the need for credible fiscal consolidation plans and warned of persistent inflation pressures due to various factors, including AI development and high energy prices.
