Șefa ANM: Toamna începe cu temperaturi de vară. Cât va mai ține căldura și cum se anunță iarna
Romania is experiencing an unusually warm start to autumn, with temperatures expected to remain above average through early October. The National Meteorological Administration (ANM) reports record highs for early September, with temperatures reaching 38 degrees Celsius in some areas. While some rain is anticipated later in the week, it is unlikely to significantly alleviate the ongoing drought conditions. The director of ANM, Elena Mateescu, noted that recent years have shown a trend of milder winters with less precipitation, and while it is too early to predict this winter's conditions, the expectation is for continued warmth and limited snowfall.
