Șef din poliția sârbă contestat de grupurile de studenți, reținut la o săptămână după alegeri. Procurorii neagă vreo legătură cu scrutinul
The head of Serbia's Criminal Investigation Police, Marko Kricak, was detained on suspicion of abuse of office, following student protests. Prosecutors deny any connection to recent elections where the ruling party faced defeat. Kricak, a loyal figure to President Vucic, has been criticized for police brutality during protests. Alongside him, Bosko Sekulovic, head of organized crime police, was also arrested. Both are accused of failing to fulfill their professional duties, linked to a case involving a murder suspect. Kricak previously worked in the intelligence service and was appointed to his current role in late 2025.
