The Romanian government plans to notify large energy-consuming companies 24 hours in advance about temporary consumption limits if voluntary reductions are insufficient. Premier Ilie Bolojan stated that this measure is a backup mechanism to be implemented only when necessary. Recent meetings focused on energy supply and fuel availability, with ongoing efforts to maintain the operation of energy units. The situation has improved, with major refineries operating at high capacity, and no immediate fuel supply issues are anticipated for the population and agriculture. The government is also working on liquidity solutions and accelerating necessary regulatory approvals for new production capacities.
