While 95% of Romanians aged 16-74 used the internet in 2025, only 60% shopped online, indicating significant potential for further development. Trust in online shopping is crucial for continued growth, as consumers need assurance about product safety and accurate information. The ARMO emphasizes that consumer protection standards should apply equally to non-EU merchants. A workshop is being held to enhance understanding of consumer rights and improve online services.
