Secțiunea 3 a Autostrăzii Sibiu-Pitești prinde contur

The Regional Directorate of Roads and Bridges (DRDP) Craiova announced significant progress in the preparatory works for the Poiana Tunnel on the Sibiu-Pitești Highway. Over 80% of the necessary infrastructure for the Tunnel Boring Machine (TBM) installation has been completed. The Poiana Tunnel will be 1,780 meters long and is part of a complex project in the mountainous area. The construction of the highway aims to connect historical regions and alleviate traffic congestion in the Olt Valley. The entire route spans approximately 122 kilometers and is divided into five sections, with Section 3 being the most challenging due to the rugged terrain.
