Marius Viorel Poșa has been appointed as the new general director of the Complexul Energetic Valea Jiului, pending his resignation from the Ministry of Energy due to a conflict of interest. The current interim director will remain in charge until the transition is finalized. Poșa's selection followed a recent nomination process, and he has a diverse background in public administration and international structures. He has previously held various positions, including secretary of state and interim president of CEVJ's board. Poșa also has experience in the energy market, having been a minority shareholder in EVA Energy SA, which went bankrupt in 2020, leaving significant debts.
