Seceta lasă animalele fără hrană, iar fermierii sunt nevoiți să le vândă: "Furajele se găsesc foarte greu. Le-am pus pe boabe"
Animal breeders are facing severe challenges due to drought, leading to increased feed costs and the need to sell livestock. With pastures dried up, farmers are forced to provide grain and purchased feed, which is becoming increasingly difficult to afford. A shepherd from Mehedinți reported that his sheep are now on grain due to the lack of pasture, while a Black Angus cattle farmer mentioned he may have to reduce his herd significantly. The situation is dire, with many farmers struggling to maintain their livestock as feed prices rise and availability decreases. This trend has been worsening over the past two years, pushing farmers to consider selling part of their herds to manage expenses better.
