Starting September 1, Romania will launch the digital health platform 'E-Sănătatea Mea', replacing the CNAS health card. This platform will centralize medical history, prescriptions, and other essential health information for users. It features 12 modules, including medical history, prescription tracking, and a support module for patient inquiries. While using the platform is optional, it aims to simplify access to health services. Patients can also transition to a new electronic identity card that will serve as their health card, eliminating the need for the physical health card.
