Drivers planning to cross Transalpina should note a new traffic schedule starting Saturday, September 26, due to worsening weather conditions at altitudes above 1,500 meters. The Regional Directorate of Roads and Bridges (DRDP) Craiova announced that access on DN67C will be restricted daily from 09:00 to 18:00 between Rânca and Obârșia Lotrului. This decision is prompted by rain, sleet, and snow reported at high altitudes, which can rapidly change travel conditions. Authorities advise drivers to plan their trips accordingly and adhere to traffic signs. After 18:00, vehicles will not be allowed to continue on the restricted section, especially as winter approaches, affecting high-altitude travel.
