The closure works of the Timiș-Triaj industrial waste deposit are progressing, with 78% of the waste relocated. The project involves moving approximately 700,000 cubic meters of waste and stabilizing the site with various measures. After relocation, the area will be covered with soil and planted with grass and shrubs. The project also includes erosion control and rainwater management systems. The works, contracted to Inoveco SRL and Socot SA, must be completed within 12 months, with a total budget of over 135 million lei, including EU funding.
