Se schimbă euro. Cum va arăta moneda unică europeană. Este cea mai mare schimbare de design de când a apărut bancnota

The European Central Bank has revealed potential designs for a new euro banknote and is inviting public feedback on ten finalists until September 21. The themes include 'European Culture' featuring figures like Beethoven and Marie Curie, and 'Rivers and Birds' focusing on biodiversity. ECB President Christine Lagarde emphasized that euro banknotes symbolize European identity. The euro was officially named in 1995 and became a digital currency in 1999, with physical notes introduced in 2002. Currently, it is the official currency of 21 EU member states and is used by around 334 million Europeans daily.
