Traffic restrictions in Unirii Square have been lifted ahead of the new school year, allowing normal traffic flow. Mayor Daniel Băluță announced that construction on the Unirii Deck will continue without affecting traffic. The project aims to replace a deteriorating concrete structure with a modern one, with completion expected by the end of the year. Preparatory works for a new access route to the metro stations are also underway, ensuring minimal disruption. Băluță highlighted the successful funding of various infrastructure projects in Sector 4, totaling over 5 billion euros, benefiting schools and housing.
