The Belvedere platform on Tampa Mountain in Brașov will be renovated after being closed due to collapse risks. The investment exceeds one million lei, with completion expected in three months. Mayor George Scripcaru signed the contract for the renovation, which will be carried out by a local company. The old platform was deemed unsafe for tourists, prompting its closure. The new design will feature laminated wood, ensuring environmental friendliness and a quick execution time. Additionally, the contractor must address the platform's cadastral and heritage documentation, as the previous structure was not properly registered. The platform, established around 1905, is a significant viewpoint in Romania.
