The Brașov – Făgăraș highway project has received government approval, featuring three interchanges and 49 bridges. After over five years of delays, the project is set to move forward with a planned auction for construction works. The highway will connect Brașov and Făgăraș, forming part of a high-speed corridor towards Sibiu. It includes significant infrastructure elements such as eco-ducts for wildlife and a service area. The project is crucial for improving road connectivity in central Romania, enhancing links between Transylvania and the national highway network.
