Se oprește și al doilea reactor nuclear de la Cernavodă din cauza debitului redus al Dunării. Apele Române: „Nu apar indicii de îmbunătățire a acestei situații”
Due to unfavorable hydrological conditions on the Danube, Unit 2 of the Cernavodă Nuclear Power Plant will be shut down on July 30. The Danube's flow is expected to drop significantly, nearing historical lows. Despite this, electricity supply for consumers will remain unaffected. The situation is being closely monitored by authorities, and necessary operational measures will be taken to ensure the stability of the National Energy System. Unit 1 is already offline due to similar conditions, and both units are crucial for Romania's energy production.
