Se oprește și al doilea reactor nuclear de la Cernavodă din cauza debitului redus al Dunării

Due to unfavorable hydrological conditions on the Danube, Unit 2 of the Cernavodă NPP will be shut down on July 30 at 10:00 AM. The Ministry of Economy announced that electricity supply for households and businesses will remain unaffected. Authorities will implement necessary measures to ensure the stable operation of the National Energy System. The two units at Cernavodă typically provide about 20% of Romania's electricity production.
