The project for a new building at Brașov Children's Hospital is progressing with the Urban Zoning Plan set for approval. The new structure will house an Infectious Diseases Department and an ICU isolation unit, addressing current limitations in patient flow and infection control. The building will feature a basement, ground floor, and three additional floors, accommodating around 35 beds. This initiative aims to enhance the hospital's capacity to manage infectious cases separately from other patients. The project began in 2022, and the zoning plan is now ready for local council approval, which is essential for moving forward with construction.
