Se fac ultimele teste de siguranță de la tunelul Momaia. CNAIR: „Circulația pe secțiunea 4 din A1 va fi deschisă în acest an”

Cristian Pistol, the CEO of CNAIR, announced that testing of monitoring equipment for Section 4 of the Sibiu-Pitești Highway is underway. The opening of this section is planned for this year, pending successful tests. The Momaia tunnel features over 2,500 monitoring points, including sensors and cameras, to ensure traffic safety. Final tests with ISU and CNAIR representatives will occur at the end of November, focusing on fire simulations and traffic control. The section will allow traffic on approximately 54 km of the highway, with all roadworks completed ahead of schedule. The project is funded through the 2021-2027 Transport Program.
