The Comarnic Beltway will open on October 1, easing traffic from Bucharest to the mountains. The project, completed after three years of delays, includes a 6-kilometer road with two lanes and several infrastructure improvements. It aims to reduce congestion on DN1 and the Prahova Valley. The investment totals over 470 million lei, funded by European and state resources, with collaboration between the National Company for Road Infrastructure and Prahova County Council. Other ongoing projects include the Azuga-Bușteni Beltway and multiple road and pedestrian passages on DN1.
