Poland is advancing the "Port Polska" infrastructure project, valued at €31 billion, which includes a new mega-airport and a high-speed rail hub. The project aims to enhance connectivity and reduce travel times across the country. Construction is set to begin in September, with numerous public tenders already launched. The airport will be located southwest of Warsaw and is expected to handle 34 million passengers annually by 2032. The high-speed rail network will facilitate the transfer of passenger traffic from air and road to rail, with speeds up to 350 km/h. The initiative, originally proposed in 2017, was renamed in 2025 and aims to strengthen Poland's position in the European and global markets.
