This initiative aims to improve access to absorbent products for those with certain health conditions, disabilities, or elderly individuals, enhancing their dignity and quality of life. The compensation applies regardless of whether the condition is temporary or permanent. The bill has also been passed by the Senate, with the Chamber of Deputies being the final decision-making body. The authors emphasize the health risks associated with inadequate diaper use, such as severe skin irritations and urinary infections.
