Fuel prices in Romania have reached historic highs, with gasoline nearing 10 lei per liter and diesel approaching 10.50 lei. Major chains like Petrom and OMV have increased gasoline prices by 9 bani to 9.91 and 9.97 lei respectively, while diesel prices have also risen to 10.37 and 10.43 lei. Other chains are expected to follow suit soon. This surge is attributed to rising oil prices, which have recently hit 105 dollars per barrel due to escalating conflicts in the Middle East.
