The sinking of four barges loaded with stone, aimed at increasing water flow to the Cernavodă Nuclear Power Plant, has been postponed to Thursday morning for safety reasons. Discussions emphasized the need for careful planning to ensure stability during the operation. The barges will be anchored and supported before sinking to prevent movement. Additional works will also be conducted to maintain water levels and enhance flow towards the plant, ensuring continued cooling supply amid declining Danube levels.
