Approximately 86,000 students in Bihor will start the new school year, with all schools now having indoor toilets. However, 68 buildings lack fire safety authorization, and some schools will operate in shifts. In Derna and Popești, where drought has affected water supply, classes will begin with 'School Otherwise' while authorities work on a deep well. The prefect announced that minor adjustments are still needed in some schools, and security measures are in place, including police presence to ensure student safety. Inspections revealed numerous safety violations, but efforts are ongoing to improve conditions and prevent emergencies.
