An air alert was issued in northern Romania due to a drone detected near the Ukrainian border, leading to school suspensions in several localities. The Suceava County School Inspectorate announced that classes would be suspended until 10:00 AM following discussions with authorities. The drone reportedly entered Romanian airspace for about four minutes before crashing near Solca without causing any casualties or damage. The alert was communicated to the public via the RO-Alert system, advising residents to stay calm and seek shelter. Two Romanian F-16 aircraft were deployed to monitor the situation, coinciding with the detection of another drone group in Ukraine.
