Sclavie în Covasna: Victime vândute și forțate să muncească
Five family members were arrested in Covasna for exploiting vulnerable individuals through forced labor. The victims were reportedly made to work up to 16 hours a day without pay. The group allegedly recruited individuals through deception and coercion, keeping them in poor conditions and confiscating their identification documents. They intended to sell the victims for 2,000 to 3,000 euros. Authorities conducted searches at the suspects' homes, seizing documents and luxury cars. Prosecutors have requested preventive detention for 30 days.
