Schimbări pe piața auto. Românii înmatriculează mai puține mașini. Ce se întâmplă cu cele noi și electrice? • Newsweek România
In the second quarter of 2026, passenger vehicle registrations in Romania decreased by 7.6% compared to the same period in 2025, primarily due to a drop in car registrations. However, new vehicle registrations saw a significant increase, with new passenger cars rising by 20.7%. The overall market for vehicles showed mixed results, with mopeds and motorcycles experiencing an 18.6% increase in registrations. The data indicates a growing trend for new vehicles, while the existing fleet largely consists of older models. Electric vehicles accounted for only 6.1% of the bus and minibus stock, highlighting the slow pace of electrification in certain categories.
