Romanian President Nicușor Dan announced an expansion of the Future Leaders Exchange (FLEX) program, allowing up to 70 Romanian high school students to study in the U.S. for the 2027-2028 school year. This initiative will also welcome up to 20 American students to Romania. The program aims to strengthen educational ties between Romania and the U.S., providing students with valuable experiences that extend beyond academics. The FLEX program is co-funded by the Romanian Ministry of Education and the U.S. Department of State, with administration by American Councils for International Education. Interested students can apply for this competitive opportunity.
