Starting September 1, new electronic identity cards can replace health cards, though this is not mandatory. The system is currently being tested. Individuals without updated documents can still use their health cards. The eSanatateaMea platform will allow those with electronic IDs to access medical services. These IDs will store necessary medical data, with limited access for state authorities.
