Schimbare majoră pregătită pentru trenurile din România. Ce orașe sunt vizate de noul sistem

The Romanian Railway Reform Authority is planning to implement a scheduled train service around major cities, aiming for regular intervals that are easy to remember. To determine the frequency and capacity of trains, a national mobility survey is being launched to understand how Romanians travel. The anonymous survey will take about 10-12 minutes to complete and will help estimate travel needs. Data collection will occur in two phases, covering both summer and off-season periods. The project, co-financed by the EU, aims to integrate short-distance commuter transport with medium and long-distance services, with a budget exceeding 10 million lei and a 24-month implementation period.
