Schimbare importantă pentru șoferi de la 1 octombrie: dispar taxele de pod de la Fetești și Vadu Oii

Starting October 1, the tolls for crossing the Danube bridges at Fetești and Vadu Oii will be eliminated as part of the new TollRo road pricing system. Radu Miruță, the interim Minister of Transport, announced this change, stating it addresses concerns from drivers who pay a road vignette but also face separate bridge tolls. The new system will charge heavy traffic based on distance traveled and vehicle pollution levels, aligning with practices in 24 other EU countries. The removal of bridge tolls may also allow for the reallocation of over 100 CNAIR employees currently involved in toll collection. The TollRo system is expected to be operational by the same date, with sufficient preparation time provided for its implementation.
