The new production line will focus on processing long shafts, with an estimated output of 2,000 tons per year. This investment is part of Schaeffler's ongoing development and reorganization efforts in Romania, despite recent challenges in the automotive industry. The factory has evolved significantly since its establishment in 2002, now employing over 5,000 people and becoming a key production hub for the group. The project is expected to be completed soon, enhancing the factory's technological capabilities.
