An ambulance crew in Recea Cristur was attacked by locals who believed the vehicle was involved in child abduction, following a TikTok rumor. The crew was assaulted with bats and stones while transporting a patient to the hospital. The driver was injured by shattered glass during the attack and required emergency surgery for a corneal injury.
