DIICOT has reinstated the seizure of Nordis properties in Mamaia after the Bucharest Court of Appeal lifted previous protective measures. The seizure includes 184 properties and 14 land plots valued at over 12 million euros, linked to ongoing criminal investigations involving organized crime, embezzlement, money laundering, and fraud. The decision follows the extension of criminal proceedings against former PSD deputy Laura Vicol for additional offenses related to the Nordis case. Vicol and her husband are accused of embezzling millions from Nordis companies, using funds for luxury expenses. The total number of complaints has exceeded 700, with reported damages reaching approximately 75 million euros for unbuilt properties.
