He emphasized the need for solutions to the unique situation at the refinery, which has been inactive since October 2025. The tribunal has opened insolvency proceedings, appointing a provisional administrator. Darău noted that while insolvency can protect employees and assets in the short term, it also limits state influence over the company. He reiterated the importance of finding solutions to avoid negative scenarios, especially given the refinery's significant role in Romania's fuel supply.
