PNL and USR announced they would contest the decision in the Constitutional Court, claiming the new distribution of positions does not reflect their parliamentary weight. PSD defended the process as legitimate and criticized PNL and USR for escalating the situation over two positions. The dispute is linked to ongoing negotiations for a new government following the recent censure motion against the Bolojan government.
