Metrorex has not paid its monthly energy bills for three months, totaling 1 million euros per month, and is negotiating payment arrangements. Miruță highlighted inefficiencies in the use of public funds at Metrorex and has requested detailed explanations regarding the outstanding debts. The company owes over 11 million lei to Hidroelectrica, which has threatened disconnection. Miruță emphasized the need for significant changes at Metrorex, stating that issues have persisted for too long.
