Scandal la Sf. Gheorghe după ce primăria nu a avizat un marș al extremiștilor români, pe care-l consideră „o provocare”
The Sfântu Gheorghe City Hall denied the authorization for a march organized by the 'Calea Neamului' Association, citing community disturbance concerns. Despite this, the association's leader announced intentions to protest regardless of the decision. Mayor Árpád Antal emphasized the importance of maintaining peace between Romanian and Hungarian communities. The march was expected to attract around 200 participants and aimed to address the removal of bilingual road signs. This situation follows a similar denial of the 'Oradea Pride' march, raising concerns about freedom of assembly in Romania.
