Cristian Bivolaru, general manager of Farul Constanța, was revealed to have collaborated with the Securitate under the alias 'George' during the communist regime. He claims he was coerced into this role due to blackmail from a colleague. Bivolaru's involvement with the Securitate began in 1982, and he was later evaluated positively by the agency. After the revolution, his informant file was transferred to CNSAS, and he resigned from the Romanian Football Federation amid controversies. Bivolaru maintains he was forced into collaboration and has since distanced himself from public life, although he still appears in the club's official records.
