Scandal de corupție în fotbalul din Coreea de Sud: oficialii ar fi plătit servicii sexuale pentru arbitri străini

The South Korean Football Federation is embroiled in a scandal involving payments for sexual services for foreign referees and officials, revealed by a 2016 report. The document indicates that the federation paid for such services on at least eight occasions between 2011 and 2012, including during World Cup and Olympic qualifying matches. Investigators found that these practices were institutionalized and tolerated within the organization. Although prosecutors previously deemed the evidence insufficient for further action, the issue resurfaced after a media outlet published the report. The federation has since apologized and stated that such practices no longer occur, while the Ministry of Sports has called for further investigations.
