Year-on-year, August 2026 showed a slight increase of 0.9% compared to August 2025, despite a decline in food product sales. Adjusted figures also indicated a modest growth of 0.1% year-on-year, with notable decreases in food and fuel sales. Overall, the first eight months of 2026 reflected a downward trend in retail sales, particularly in non-food and fuel categories.
