The poet reportedly spent his summers here as a child, but decades of decline have left it isolated. The last locals, including an 87-year-old man and a former border police officer, reflect on the village's past and their current lives. The area is accessible only by a dirt road and lacks basic amenities, relying on distant relatives for support. A bust of Eminescu stands as a reminder of the village's historical significance.
