The most expensive island, Spalathronisi, spans 108,000 square meters and can accommodate multiple villas or a small hotel. Another island near Sithonia is listed for 8.5 million euros, with permission for small construction. Islands near Kavala, like Xeronisi, are cheaper but smaller. Purchasing a private island involves a complex process requiring up to 32 permits, with archaeological approval being particularly challenging. Nonetheless, investor interest persists.
