Six earthquakes occurred in the Vrancea seismic zone within 24 hours, with the strongest measuring 3.4 in magnitude. Experts indicate that this unusual seismic activity is not currently alarming due to varying depths and energy levels of the quakes. Seismologist Mihai Diaconescu explained that for a series of quakes to indicate a potential precursor to a larger earthquake, they would need to be at the same energy level and include a significantly stronger quake. The recent tremors, occurring at different depths, do not suggest an imminent major earthquake.
