Șapte români au murit din cauza infecției cu West Nile. INSP, recomandări pentru populație

According to the National Institute of Public Health, 117 cases of West Nile virus were reported in Romania over the last four months, with 7 fatalities. Most cases involved individuals aged 60 to 69, and the virus is transmitted by infected mosquitoes. Symptoms include fever and headaches, with severe cases requiring hospitalization. The highest number of infections occurred in Bucharest and Ilfov County. Recommendations for prevention include wearing long sleeves and using mosquito repellents.
