Șapte persoane reținute într-un dosar de fraudare a votului la alegerile prezidențiale din 2025

Seven individuals were detained in connection with a case of electoral fraud during the 2025 presidential elections in Romania. They allegedly voted on behalf of others who did not attend the polls. The arrests were made following the execution of ten warrants across Giurgiu, Ilfov, and Teleorman counties. Three additional individuals were placed under judicial control. The investigation revealed that members of a voting section falsified signatures and falsely certified the presence of non-attendees at the polls. The case is being handled by the Giurgiu Tribunal Prosecutor's Office.
